First time linoleum cut

Sonoran Scribe

Always a fan of different hand printing mediums. Screen Printing being my favorite so far. Linoleum Cuts was one, believe it or not, I had never tried. Last year when I had just moved back to Texas from Arizona I tried it, using a piece of art designed for Casa Libre. I went down to the local art supply and picked up the linoleum block and cutting tools, some ink and a brayer aka roller to apply the ink. Then I proceeded to draw my image on the block and cut it out. Printing was very different and a whole other story. Linoleum cuts are very different to say the least. I look forward to doing more in the future but as yet this is the only one I have completed.

Help Me Get There

The Serpent - Red Sun

My goal in the next few months is to set up my printing studio. I have many ideas to get down on paper. To get there though I need to build a few presses and get everything setup and ready to print. Like anything else in life it takes money. To make some money I have been selling vintage photos online. Click the link below to see my Etsy Vintage photo. If you like, purchase a few. All proceeds will go towards setting up my printing shop.
