I took a shot. While I am in the wood cutting mood I decided to make a poster. The image above is the final piece. Drawn, transfered, cut, inked and printed by hand. I then scanned it and cleaned the letters just a little to finish the piece. Check the link below for the process pictures. the TRYST December 21st - WINTER SOLSTICE

It's that time of year! Holiday cheer and the passing of another year and in this case a season. Fall is almost over and Winter is here. The Tryst is out in full force December 21st at the annual Winter Solstice celebration aka the Hut's Christmas party. It is always a good time.

Above is the poster for the event. I used one of the Herd Mentality characters. I think it came out nice. Maybe it will snow this year in Tucson!

I Love Canada!

It appears that I scored another small poster gig with a Canadian music venue promoter. That makes two in less than a months time. Let's hope this trend continues. I only have so much I can hock on ebay. Poster art and more news after the piece is finished.

Little update. Not only do I have a few art shows next month to look forward too I have some more poster gigs. Several. maybe four or five, I will have to go look, poster gigs for the Tryst. I do have one new band to do a poster for. Darlings of Chelsea are a new band from Toronto, Canada. I designed a very cool logo and now I am incorporating it into a poster.
